Cancellations

Requests for refunds must be made in writing by fax, mail, or email (macul@macul.org) by March 13, 2019.

A $50 handling fee will be deducted from the refund. No refunds under $10 will be issued. Refunds and overpayments will be issued no later than 30 days after the conference.

Special Needs

Cobo Center provides visitors with ADA accessibility. If you have special needs, please contact MACUL four weeks prior to the conference with your accommodation request. Please call us at 517-882-1403 or email us at macul@macul.org.

Payment

We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, checks and school purchase orders (PO) for payment.

Payment or purchase order must be received within 30 days of completing your registration to avoid cancellation.

No Show Policy

If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.

Sign up to volunteer for the 2019 MACUL conference! (You must be registered for the conference to sign up.) Do you want to:

  • Further your professional network and meet new people
  • Help make the conference the best ever
  • Receive a free T-shirt! All volunteers that complete their shift will get a free t-shirt.

No experience necessary and we will give you all the information you need to have a great experience! This is a two hour commitment.

  • Stand or sit at a table with an Ask Me sign and answer questions. Volunteers will also get a booklet with information about the conference.

Sign-up for AV/Tech Support >

  • Assist with AV support for room and presenters

Sign-up for Makerspace >

  • Help participants create and make at the different tables in the Makerspace.

Sign-up for Poster Sessions >

  • Help presenters set up posters and guide participants to posters (as needed).

Sign-up for Registration/Pre-Reg >

  • Pre-Registration - Help check in conference attendees that pre-registered.
  • Registration - Help check in conference attendees.

  • Assist with counting the number of attendees in a set block of presentation rooms.
